South Africa is situated in the southern part of Africa and is surrounded on three sides by coastline. These coastlines have beautiful beaches allowing you to combined a safari holiday with a beach holiday. It is bordered in the north by Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. South Africa has three capitals, Cape Town, Pretoria and Bloemfontein.
Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in South Africa and the country attracts thousands of visits from afar year up on year. South Africa has a popular of over 50 million people and is extremely diverse. Eighty percent (4.4 million) of African people are white, black population is 4.2 million and Asian and Indian population 1.2 million.
South Africa has an extensive road infrastructure including national highways and secondary roads. Speed limits are set at 120 kilometres on highways; 100 kilometres on secondary roads and 60 kilometres in urban areas.
South Africa also has some fantastic traditional markets for you to explore as well as a stunning night life in the main towns.
